Your climbing logbook for bouldering and routes, built for progression

Climb with your people.

I'm building Climbing Addicts solo and in the open: boulder and route logbook, progression, crews. AI photo recognition is in development. Try the web beta and tell me what breaks — your feedback drives the roadmap.

What works, what's in progress

Honest status: live in beta or in development.

Live in beta

Climbing logbook

Log every attempt: grade, flash / send / project, gym, photos. The foundation for everything else.

In development

Photo recognition

Hold segmentation already works; automatic color and grade detection is paused while I plug in a new AI provider. Meanwhile, your photo is saved with the log.

Stats & progression

First panels live: progression, altitude, grade distribution. Advanced insights (pyramids, heatmaps, prediction) ship with your feedback.

Crews & challenges

Create your crew, share live sessions, compare progression. Testers welcome — this is where your feedback matters most.

Holds: we reward perseverance, not grades

Every climb and every session earns holds. Stack them up and you gain altitude. Nobody climbs against anyone here: we climb together, and what matters is coming back.

A team, not a competition

No competition between climbers. The weekly boards reward regularity, perseverance and curiosity, never raw grades. Everyone can finish first at something, and nobody is shown last.

Perseverance above all

A project sent after several tries is worth almost twice a flash at your level. A project you didn't send is still worth logging: trying counts.

Coming back is the real performance

Two short sessions are worth more than one long marathon. Returning after a break is the hardest move: it's the biggest session bonus.

You only compare to yourself

The grade alone pays little: what counts is the gap to your own usual level. Above it pays more; below it pays a bit less.

Nothing is ever taken away

No negative points, no reset. One rest week a month doesn't break your streak, and a streak that stops becomes a "best run".

Every milestone is celebrated

Week streaks, a new altitude, a crew goal reached: each step is celebrated, and earns holds.

House rules: a climb always earns at least 5 holds. The same route pays full holds twice a week, then 5 holds. Only the first 10 climbs of a session earn holds. Milestone bonuses don't count on the weekly boards.

The crew: we move forward together

Climbing as a crew means motivating each other, belaying, coming back together. Crew rewards go to every member who climbed: nobody wins at someone else's expense.

Kalymnos15 goals
Magic Wood25 goals
Yosemite40 goals

Cerro Torre90 goals

Every weekly goal reached moves the crew one step along the road of mythical spots. New spot reached: +50 for every active member. Your flower depends on you; the spot depends on the group.

Holds turn into altitude

Snowdrop0 holds · 600 m
Crocus1,500 holds · 1,200 m · +100
Harebell5,000 holds · 1,800 m · +200
Gentian12,000 holds · 2,400 m · +300
Rhododendron25,000 holds · 3,000 m · +400
Edelweiss50,000 holds · 3,600 m · +500

About 600 holds a week at two sessions: Crocus in under a month, Edelweiss in a year and a half. Altitude never goes down and depends first on your own climbing: the crew colours a week, it doesn't climb for you.
